Shaitsu session

What is Shiatsu?

Shiatsu means ‘finger pressure’ in Japanese and is a healing art that is carried out fully clothed on a futon. It is based on traditional oriental medicine using the stimulation of acupressure points, massage and stretches rather than needles (as in acupuncture).

Sessions are available in Bath and Bradford on Avon

Shiatsu relaxes, re-balances energy, restores health, improves breathing and circulation, eases tension and stiffness and enhances well-being. It is very helpful with stress, muscular tension, unresolved emotional issues, bad backs, anxiety, digestive disorders such as IBS, depression, insomnia, ME, menstrual problems and a range of other complaints.

Because Shiatsu is a nurturing and invigorating treatment to receive it is an excellent way to maintain health and well-being.
